These Man Utd movie tie-ins have GOT TO STOP!

You might remember Wayne Rooney's inexplicable X-Men cameo from a few weeks ago, you might have just about managed to force it out of your mind...

Well, we've got some bad news. He's back; this time stinking out the Independence Day franchise alongside Chris Smalling, Ashley Young, Daley Blind, Juan Mata and actual actor Jeff Goldblum.

Couple of things. Why is Rooney, in both the X-Men and Independence Day clips, wearing a full kit? He looks like a competition winner. And secondly, Juan Mata's actually a pretty decent actor, isn't he? You knew he would be.
